VENUE INFO

Quincy Market is a historic market in downtown Boston that features a huge food hall in a historic building with 50-plus eateries, vendors and kiosks with diverse offerings.

On Tuesday morning, we'll board the Amtrak Downeaster to Maine where we will take a narrated driving tour of the coastal villages of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, driving past the sandy beaches and rocky coastline and past the Bush estate at Walker's Point.

The Cog Railway is a three-hour train ride to the summit of Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast. The ride includes a one hour stop at the summit for sightseeing and photos.

The guided tour of New Hampshire's White Mountains touches upon the history, geology and lore of the area.

We mix it up a little, going from rail to water on Thursday's Motor Ship Mount Washington Scenic Cruise on Lake Winniepesaukee, a New Hampshire tradition since 1872.

A real treat begins at Meredith Station of the Granite State Railway where you'll enjoy a two-hour scenic train ride with a hot roasted turkey dinner -- and all the trimmings -- carved at your table.

Other stops are at the Wright Museum of World War II and the Old Country Store & Museum, a New Hampshire landmark that's been operating since 1781.
