Travel with Martz Bus to Jersey City as we set sail for two of the nation’s most famous landmarks – Liberty Island and Ellis Island -- on Saturday, June 20.
We’ll depart from Liberty State Park where you’ll be on your own throughout the day to take the ferry to both islands, allowing you to spend as much time at each location as you’d like. We understand some people may want to spend more time at the Statue of Liberty and others may want to concentrate on genealogical research at the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.
Important to note:
This tour grants you general admission. That means your ferry boat transportation is included and you have access to both islands including the Statue of Liberty Museum and the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration. This does not grant you access inside the statue or pedestal.
The National Parks Service, which oversees the properties, does not sell group tickets for entry to the Statue of Liberty.
If you want to enter the Statue of Liberty when you travel with Martz, you may purchase tickets online for either pedestal access or crown access. These tickets are limited and reservations are required. Therefore, you should order your tickets at this website as soon as possible since both crown and pedestal access tickets are very limited.
While the two islands are the focal points of this trip, make sure you enjoy the views of the New York City skyline with the One World Trade Center. The ferry ride from the park to each island takes about 15 minutes.
