All sales are final.
Refunds will not be issued for tours -- no exceptions.
Therefore, we recommend travel insurance which is now being offered through our partner, Trip Mate. You may use this link to get a quote or to purchase the insurance.
The 10-percent deposits on multi-day tours are non-refundable.
If it becomes necessary for Martz Travel to cancel a tour, the full price will be refunded. You have the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.
ACCESSIBILITY
If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, or if you are bringing a wheelchair or scooter, please make note of it in the Comments section when making your reservation.
WALKABILITY
There is quite a bit of walking involved in this tour. The bus will transport you to each venue and drop you off as close to the entrance as possible each time but since motorcoaches cannot easily maneuver around the streets of Salem, expect to do a lot of walking.
Halloween on the Hill, for instance, is a two-hour walking tour through three private homes.
You will get off the trolley during the Ghosts and Gravestones Tour to walk through the graveyards at night.
HOTEL INFO
Encore Boston Harbor has a casino, onsite restaurants, spa, salon, fitness center, drugstore and boutique.
Rooms with two beds are limited so if you request two beds in your room, we will pass on the request but cannot guarantee the hotel can accommodate all requests.
You may request a room with two beds and we will pass it on to the hotels but since they are limited, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned a room with two beds. Requests made after the rooming list has been submitted to the hotel (usually 4-6 weeks before the departure date) cannot be accommodated.

Gallows Hill Museum, one of Salem’s top-rated attractions, explores the Salem witch trials and is filled with history, lore and special effects.
House of the Seven Gables, built in 1668, is one of America’s most beloved historic homes. It is best known as the setting for the world-renowned author Nathaniel Hawthorne’s 1851 novel.
Real Pirates Salem takes you on a voyage through pirate history with a museum containing more than 300 years of artifacts and real treasure from the shipwrecked Whydah Gally including coins, cannons and weapons.
One of the main attractions on this New England tour is the Salem Witch Museum which examines one of the most enduring and emotional events in American History, the Salem witch trials of 1692. The museum consists of two presentations. The first provides an immersive look into the events of 1692. Visitors experience the drama of that dark time though thirteen life-size stage sets, figures, lighting and narration as they are witness to the web of lies and intrigue of the Salem witch-hunt.
The second exhibit, “Witches: Evolving Perceptions,” explores the meaning behind the word witch and evolution of the image of the witch over time.
Halloween on the Hill is a two-hour walking tour of Boston's Beacon Hill section where you'll tour three private homes all dressed up for the holiday.
MEALS
Six meals are included: You will receive $20 vouchers for breakfast at the hotel on Days 2, 3 and 4.
Dinner will be included on Days 1, 2 & 3 at local restaurants to be announced.
If you are asked to make a meal selection, orders placed after the deadline (usually two weeks to one month before the departure) may not be received.
BUS SEATING
While we try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the seat of your choice. If you have a preference, please make note of it in the Comments section when booking your trip. We are committed to meeting the specific health and mobility needs of our passengers.
