ACCESSIBILITY

If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, or if you are bringing a wheelchair or scooter, please make note of it in the Comments section when making your reservation.

Marshfield Base Station is fully handicap accessible with restrooms in the main and lower lobbies and an elevator providing access to both levels.

There are three steps leading to the boarding deck which has narrow aisles and doorways.

A mobility-impaired guest must be capable of transferring from their wheelchair or other device by themselves or with assistance to their assigned seat on the coach.

If space permits, a folding wheelchair or walker may be transferred to the train.

Due to space and weight limitations, motorized wheelchairs cannot be transported on the train. The venue will provide a folding wheelchair for use at the summit. If you would like to reserve a wheelchair or walker at the summit, please make note of it in the Comments section.

WALKABILITY

There is a moderate amount of walking involved in this tour. The bus will transport you to each venue and drop you off as close to the entrance as possible each time.

HOTEL INFO

We will stay at the Mountain Club on Loon in Lincoln, N.H., which has an indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and pub.

You may request a room with two beds and we will pass it on to the hotels but since they are limited, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned a room with two beds. Requests made after the rooming list has been submitted to the hotel (usually 4-6 weeks before the departure date) cannot be accommodated.

VENUE INFO

The Mount Washington Cog Railway is a three-hour, scenic train ride to the top of Mount Washington, the Northeast's highest peak. Great photo opportunities.

Note: Even though this tour is in June, the weather at the summit is unpredictable and it's always considerably colder and windier than at the base station -- so bring warm clothes. Dressing is layers is your best bet.

It's not unusual to need a winter jacket, hat and gloves at this time of the year.

The terrain beyond the boarding platform and visitor center is steep, rocky and can be difficult so sturdy footwear is recommended.

Following a buffet luncheon at the Omni Mount Washington, we will take a slef-guided tour of this historic hotel which was built in 1902. This hotel was a favorite New England retreat of celebrities include three U.S. presidents, Thomas Edison and Babe Ruth.

The moose tour varies in length depending on how many moose we spot and how early in the night we find them. The tour may last as long as three hours.

Fadden's General Store & Maple Sugarhouse is a New Hampshire staple and a must-see while in the Granite State. Browse through this authentic, old-fashioned general store which has been family-owned since 1896. Its onsite maple sugar house is a five-time winner of "Best Maple Syrup in New Hampshire."

MEALS

Breakfast is included on Days 2, 3 & 4 at the hotel.

A boxed lunch is included on Day 2 and a luncheon buffet is included on Day 3.

Dinners are included on Days 1 & 2 at either the hotel or a local restaurant. You will be notified of the location before the departure date.

If you are asked to make a meal selection, orders placed after the deadline (usually two weeks to one month before the departure) may not be received.

BUS SEATING

While we try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the seat of your choice. If you have a  preference, please make note of it in the Comments section when booking your trip. We are committed to meeting the specific health and mobility needs of our passengers.
