About this trip

Another Martz Tours favorite, this trip includes a two-hour, horse-drawn covered wagon ride through the scenic Pennsylvania Grand Canyon outside of Wellsboro.
We’re hosting this trip on Thursday, Oct. 8 when the mountainside is in its colorful autumn splendor.

You’re sure to enjoy this unique experience as a knowledgeable guide talks about the wildlife and plant life found along the trail and relates the history of Pine Creek Gorge, the 47-mile gorge carved into the Allegheny Plateau by Pine Creek.
Hear the stories of the Americans who planted the trees and find out which presidents traveled to this picturesque natural wonder.

Following the wagon ride, enjoy an honest-to-goodness Cowboy Cookout featuring smoked pork, chicken, a potato and baked beans.
We’ve also carved in some time at the lovely town of Wellsboro.
