On Christmas Eve, the sunlit Palm Springs home of a politically connected family becomes a battleground of memory, loyalty, and legacy when a daughter returns with a memoir and the power to expose the explosive truth they’ve kept hidden. With cutting insight and razor-sharp wit, they excavate old wounds and long-buried secrets. As the past comes into focus, the question isn’t just what happened, but who owns a family’s story and what is the cost to tell it.

11 a.m. – Estimated arrival in New York City with dropoff on 8th Avenue at 51st & 52nd streets

1-3:30 p.m. - "Other Desert Cities," Hudson Theatre, 141 W 44th St, New York, NY

7:15 p.m. – Depart New York City with pickup on 8th Avenue at 51st & 52nd streets. Please be at the pickup location by 7 p.m.

DROPOFFS

9:15 p.m. – Delaware Water Gap
10:15 p.m. – Scranton Terminal
10:45 p.m. - Wyoming Valley Mall

CANCELLATIONS

• All sales are final.

• Refunds will not be issued for tours - no exceptions.

• Therefore, we recommend travel insurance which is now being offered through our partner, Trip Mate. You may use this link to get a quote or to purchase the insurance.

• If it becomes necessary for Martz Travel to cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund with the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.

• Payment for all day trips must be made in full at the time of booking.

PARKING

• Wyoming Valley Mall, Wilkes-Barre Township: Parking is free. Pickup is in the area of the Ken Pollock Service Center, site of the former Sears service center.

• Scranton Bus Terminal, 30 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton: The $9 daily parking fee is being waived. Your parking pass will be included in your passenger packet before you board the bus. Please place the pass in your windshield. Parking passes will not be available in advance at the terminal. When you arrive at the bus terminal, do not enter from Lackawanna Avenue; this entryway is for buses only. Turn onto Cliff Avenue from Lackawanna Avenue, then make a left into the bus terminal parking lot.

• Delaware Water Gap, 1082 Foxtown Hill Road, Stroudsburg: The $5 daily parking fee is being waived. Your parking pass will be included in your passenger packet before you board the bus. Please place the pass in your windshield. Parking passes will not be available in advance at the terminal.

MEALS

You are on your own for your meals while in New York City. It is suggested that you make dinner reservations beforehand. Restaurants near the theater district..

AGE RECOMMENDATIONS

"Other Desert Cities" is recommended for ages 12 and older.

ACCESSIBILITY

If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, please make note of it in the Comments section when making your reservation.

Theatre seating is located on the 2nd level, but does have elevator.

WALKABILITY

You are responsible for getting around New York City throughout the day. There is an abundance of public transportation methods.

BUS SEATING

While we try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the seat of your choice. If you have a preference, please make note of it in the Comments section when booking your trip. Since we are committed to meeting the specific health and mobility needs of our passengers, the seating arrangements may change before our departure date.
