CANCELLATIONS
All sales are final.
Refunds will not be issued for tours -- no exceptions.
All multi-day tours require a deposit which is non-refundable.
If it becomes necessary for Martz Travel to cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund with the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.
ACCESSIBILITY
If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, or if you are bringing an ADA-approved mobility device, please provide a description in the Comments section when making your reservation. Non-approved ADA devices will not be allowed to be stored on or beneath the bus.
WALKABILITY
There is quite a bit of walking involved in this tour since a motorcoach cannot pull directly onto the areas where we will board the Maid of the Mist or any of the other Niagara Falls attractions including the state park, Cave of the Winds and Goat Island.
You also are on your own to walk around Lewiston, N.Y., and the amount of walking you do is up to you.
As for the other venues -- Riverside Restaurant, the carousel museum and the Lockport Canal Cruise -- you will be dropped off and picked up at the entrances.
HOTEL INFO
Holiday Inn Downtown Niagara Falls has an indoor pool, fitness center and onsite restaurant, Anchor Bar, home of the original Buffalo chicken wing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served.
VENUE INFO
Niagara Falls State Park is the center of your trip to this beautiful nature wonder. Our tour guide will lead you to places like Goat Island and Cave of the Winds where you will experience an all-time thrill. Venture out onto the Hurricane Deck and get closer to wonder than you ever imagined.
The Maid of the Mist boat ride through the falls has been a major tourist attraction for more than 150 years. Your journey begins at the Observation Tower, where guests are given a souvenir rain poncho to wear and board the double-deck Maid of the Mist tour boat. But, even with the poncho, you will get wet.
Your ride takes you to the base of the American Falls, and onto the basin of Horseshoe Falls — the dramatic passage leading you through the roiling waterfall whitewater and massive rock formations.
If you don't want to join the group on any of the Niagara Falls, you may take your own scenic tour (a much dryer one) on the Niagara Scenic Trolley.
Take a trip back in time to your childhood days at the local amusement park when you visit Herschell Carrousel Museum, a site dedicated the preservation of the carousel. Tour the museum and pick your favorite horse and take a spin on the merry-go-round.
End this three-day tour of the Niagara area at Lockport Locks where you will take a narrated cruise along the Erie Canal for a relaxing ride on this 19th-century engineering marvel which opened up the American frontier.
MEALS
A breakfast buffet will be served in the hotel's dining room on Days 2 & 3.
Lunch is included on Day 3 in the Canalside Restaurant following the Lockport Canal Cruise.
Dinner on Day 1 will be served buffet-style at the Riverside Restaurant overlooking the Niagara River.
You are on your own for lunch in the quaint town of Lewiston, N.Y., which has a variety of restaurant options. Be sure to save some room for a special treat at the Village Bake Shoppe on Center Street.
You are on your own for dinner on the second night; there are numerous places to dine within close proximity of the hotel.
