Summer in the city and Alexander Hamilton on the stage with Martz Travel on Sunday, July 26.

This biographical musical features songs and rap music and has received near-universal acclaim since it premiered Off-Broadway in 2015 before taking the Big Apple by storm when it reached Broadway.
Based on the 2004 biography “Alexander Hamilton” by Ron Chernow, the musical covers the life of one of our most famous founding fathers and his involvement in the American Revolution.

The music draws heavily from hip hop as well as R&B, pop, soul and traditional-style show tunes.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, who composed the lyrics, music and book, described the show as “America then, as told by America now.”
“Hamilton” received 16 a record-breaking 16 nominations and won 11 awards including Best Musical. For years, it was the most difficult – and most expensive – ticket to obtain.

11 a.m. – Estimated arrival in New York City with dropoff on 8th Avenue at 51st & 52nd streets in the theater district
1-3:45 p.m. – “Hamilton” at Richard Rodgers Theatre, 226 W. 46th St., New York, NY 10036
7 p.m. – Depart New York City with pickup on 8th Avenue at 51st & 52nd streets in the theater district. Be at the pickup spot by 6:45 p.m.

DROPOFFS

9 p.m. – Delaware Water Gap
10 p.m. – Scranton Terminal
10:30 p.m. – Wyoming Valley Mall

CANCELLATIONS

• All sales are final.

• Refunds will not be issued for tours -- no exceptions.

• Therefore, we recommend travel insurance which is now being offered through our partner, Trip Mate. You may use this link to get a quote or to purchase the insurance.

• If it becomes necessary for Martz Travel to cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund with the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.

PARKING

• Wyoming Valley Mall, Wilkes-Barre Township: Parking is free. Pickup is in the area of the Ken Pollock Service Center, site of the former Sears service center.

• Scranton Bus Terminal, 30 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton: The $9 daily parking fee is being waived. Your parking pass will be included in your passenger packet before you board the bus. Please place the pass in your windshield. Parking passes will not be available in advance at the terminal. When you arrive at the bus terminal, do not enter from Lackawanna Avenue; this entryway is for buses only. Turn onto Cliff Avenue from Lackawanna Avenue, then make a left into the bus terminal parking lot.

• Delaware Water Gap, 1082 Foxtown Hill Road, Stroudsburg: The $5 daily parking fee is being waived. Your parking pass will be included in your passenger packet before you board the bus. Please place the pass in your windshield. Parking passes will not be available in advance at the terminal.

PAYMENT 

Payment for all day trips must be made in full at the time of booking.

MEALS

You are on your own for your meals while in New York City. It is suggested that you make dinner reservations beforehand. Restaurants near Radio City Music Hall.

ACCESSIBILITY

WALKABILITY

You are responsible for getting around New York City throughout the day. There is an abundance of public transportation methods.
