CANCELLATIONS
All sales are final.
Refunds will not be issued for tours -- no exceptions.
Therefore, we recommend travel insurance which is now being offered through our partner, Trip Mate. You may use this link to get a quote or to purchase the insurance.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking on all multi-day tours.
If it becomes necessary for Martz Travel to cancel a tour, the full price will be refunded. You have the option of receiving a refund in the form of a gift certificate that may be redeemed for a future Martz Tour.
ACCESSIBILITY
If you require special assistance getting on or off the bus, or if you are bringing a wheelchair or scooter, please make note of it in the Comments section when making your reservation.
WALKABILITY
There is quite a bit of walking involved especially at Colonial Williamsburg and the Yorktown Battlefield.
The amount of walking you do inside the museums is up to you.
The bus will transport you to each venue and drop you off as close to the entrance as possible each time but there is walking involved in many of the tours.
HOTEL INFO
We will spend all three nights at Embassy Suites Williamsburg which has an indoor pool, fitness center and on-site restaurant.
You may request a room with two beds and we will pass it on to the hotels but since they are limited, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned a room with two beds. Requests made after the rooming list has been submitted to the hotel (usually 4-6 weeks before the departure date) cannot be accommodated.
VENUE INFO
Don't forget to view the new special exhibit, "Call to Arms: The Soldier and The Revolutionary War" at the National Museum of the U.S. Army which provides the only comprehensive portrayal of Army history and traditions, and offers educational experiences to illustrate the Army’s role in building and defending our nation, as well as humanitarian missions, public contributions, and technological and medical breakthroughs.
Watch as marching bands, historical reenactors and community groups stroll by at
Yorktown Victory Parade where we will have reserved seating.
Recapture the drama of the war during a guided tour at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown where new galleries tell the story of everyday people who lived during the war. A must see: the cannon firing, fife and drum performance and musket demonstration in the amphitheater.
Costumed docents will lead the tour of Colonial Williamsburg where Virginia patriots developed principles of self-government, individual liberty and responsible leadership.
The guided tour of Yorktown Battlefield shows what it took for the United States to be independent as we explore the site of the last major battle of the Revolutionary War.
MEALS
Breakfast will be served at the hotel on Days 2, 3 and 4.
Boxed lunches will be available on Days 1 and 2.
We will enjoy a seafood buffet dinner at Captain George's Seafood Restaurant.
Our second night at the Paradise Ocean Club includes a Rock 'n' Roll Gala with a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Special guests are first-person entertainers George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry.
Our farewell dinner is at Whaling Company in Williamsburg, a restaurant designed like a New England boathouse.
If you are asked to make a meal selection, orders placed after the deadline (usually two weeks to one month before the departure) may not be received.
BUS SEATING
While we try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the seat of your choice. If you have a preference, please make note of it in the Comments section when booking your trip. We are committed to meeting the specific health and mobility needs of our passengers.
